  • Carly Mendoza - Learning Content & Curriculum Design Specialist

    Carly has over a decade of experience in education, and six years of experience with adult education and workplace training. She earned her BA in Political Science and Japanese from the University of Rochester and her MS in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. Carly specializes in using adult learning principles to design, implement, and evaluate high-quality adult learning programs to support organizational success. When she's not working, Carly can be found hiking, backpacking, or rock climbing in the beautiful Arizona desert with her husband and dogs.

  • Ursula Osores - Executive Assistant

    Ursula is originally from Peru, holds a degree in Business Administration and has one dog and two cats. She enjoys going on hikes with her dog and staying at home watching tv with her cats.

  • Willi Sanchez - Acting Senior Director of Operations

    Willi Sanchez has 20 years experience in the field of education. She earned her BA from Sonoma State, and a Master’s from UC Berkeley and a Master’s from Arizona State. There she picked up skills in technology, marketing and project management. Her passion for service work is a family trait and one she carries with pride and hopes to pass down to her son. She lives in Arizona with her son, dog and two cats.

  • Suzanne Rosenzweig - Business Data Analyst

    Suzanne grew up in Maryland and currently lives in Florida. She was fortunate enough to live in France for a couple of years while working at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland (commuting between countries!). Suzanne also recently defended her dissertation in particle physics at the University of Florida! Suzanne has been freelancing with Shining Star for several years and thoroughly enjoyed providing smart and efficient solutions that are shared with clients to greatly simplify the bookkeeping process. This led her to want to be more established in her role and grow her analytical and strategic skills and abilities while deepening her understanding of how to provide the smartest most efficient solutions for nonprofit accounting. Suzanne has a gorgeous pup named Tank. They were separated when she lived abroad, and she thought she would never see her best friend again, but they were recently reunited and they are living their best life in St. Petersburg, FL! She also enjoys hiking, reading, playing the piano and practicing different languages.
